How to become a good teacher?
ReplyDeleteI believe that to be teacher is a profession difficult because it takes a long time, and the teachers should be with the students all days because they need our help. Moreover, we should teach different things our students. Also, we should have different strategies for the education of our students.
In the world the education is not good because in the actuality the teachers use the traditional education. So, the teachers are the wise and, it is bad for a good education. In my opinion the system of education is bad, for this reason the students fail. Likewise, the spaces in the college are boring.
First of all, we like teachers should change and create different methods, and strategies for improve the education. So, the education would be better. In addition, the students are not numbers neither qualifications, they are people intelligent. They only want to learn and improve their knowledge with help from their teachers.
In the world, some people think that the bad education is for the teachers. But, I think that the bad education is for the system because it is equals. Through time the knowledge change but the system is equal and it is a serious problem for the education.
To sum up the system of the education should change and it depends of the government and the pedagogy of the teachers in each room. Also the teachers should create different strategies for students to learn. So it helps to become a good teacher.

Nowadays, education is the biggest challenge in Colombia. We do not know why our education is bad and we are only looking for a guilty. Maybe will be guilt professors, students or educative system. Regardless of it, I think, as a future teacher that we can do the change.
First of all, I believe that education is a compromise between teachers and students. Now, I as a student see, analyze and understand the professors’ mistakes and they are examples. Also, I think that there must be a dialogue between them, an interchange of ideas, opinions and suggestions for removing monotony.
In addition, the teacher has an important role, which is to educate and lead students towards a better way. They can look for the best strategies of teaching. A good teacher must show love, happiness and dedication for your job, they must not do it for money. In my opinion, the Colombian educative system is not bad maybe we interpret it in the wrong sense. Some people think that going to school is to repeat the same every year, but I understand that it is teaching the same topics but in different ways, it is professors’ role.
To sum up, I believe that the students’ good education depends on teachers. If they do not repeat and look for convenient strategies for teaching, maybe students won’t be bored and it will be a pleasant environment where all can participate and to build their own knowledge among themselves. They will carry it out without forgetting every student’s integral formation.

Anybody can think about it, but no one can answer it. Apparently a simple question but it everything less that, because is a question difficult give a reply. When I was started the career I didn´t think that I could be a teacher but later I could understand that I could be a good teacher, little by little I was going to take like an appreciation to this idea. I think that to become a good teacher firstly, we should love it.
Our education is not the best; our country suffers with the education´s system because unfortunately, in many cases, for example, we don’t have teachers trained, between other many things like that the knowledge is very old for teaching to children. Today, at the school teaches things of until 30 or 40 year ago. The people right now are different, this generation right now is different, they have different ways to learn and adults want to their children to get the same knowledge of them. Apparently, the adults or the education’s system wants to do the same generation every single time. Furthermore, they want to the children learn all the same when the adults, for example, they don’t all the same. Here, the education must to children´s needs and it must not to adults´ needs.
All of us, we are a genius but when a child go in at school, generally its go in a dogmatic way, where is not a good development of your personality, creative, emotions, etc. The school must to offer possibilities to the children can act out all them. Paulo Freire said: “Studying doesn´t consist of devouring ideas, but of creating and recreating them”. The information is different to comprehension, then, we need to know every single person of the school understand it and can “make” an integral person.
However, how to become a good teacher? Step by step, a good teacher is, if he has clear and executes your role as a teacher, because, for example, a baker can´t make bread unless he knows how do it. So, a good teacher must to know his role and how it uses.
So, become a good teacher necessary, dependent of it has won a good experience being a teacher.
HOW TO BECOME A GOOD TEACHER?
ReplyDeleteEducation is one of the most important things that each person receives since childhood. That is why the school is the place where it is taught and learned all knowledge. So teachers have a great responsibility because of teachers depend that students know and develop all their skills and abilities. But the strategies and methods used by teachers in class are not always motivators for students and this makes them see school as a prison for several reasons.
First of all, teachers teach their students the same way, as they are and have different capacities, so not everyone will learn at the same time. Also teachers treat students as if they would not have any knowledge, then the teacher acts as a superior being, who knows everything. I think, this creates a gap between teachers and students, and students do not feel in an environment of trust and gradually they feel boredom being in school.
In addition when students want to give their point of view on any subject or contradict the teacher, the teacher feels attacked and does not allow students to express their ideas. By this, I believe is important that the teacher be for the student as a friend, where both go to learn from one another.
To sum up I think the teachers are trying to do their best work, but not all teachers feel love for this profession. For this reason some teachers only meet a schedule and a duty. Teachers should make the school a special place where children will learn, play and have fun and not a place where students feel like prisoners following the rules of teachers.

ReplyDeleteTeaching is one of the oldest work that exists. To be a teacher, it is possibly one of the most important and difficult professions in the world, and to be a good teacher is really a great achievement. Today, there are thousands of teachers in the world who daily trying to get a better society from their schools, many of them have a lot of titles, and broad knowledge of a specific subject, but is it enough to become a good teacher?
First of all, I consider that to be a good teacher it is necessary to have vocation, feel the desire to make a difference in the lives of our students, and love what we do. Besides, it is important to have an appropriate preparation, because as teachers, we must be sure about what we teach and how we teach. This could make a difference to achieve a significant learning in our students.
In addition, According to Rogoff, Matusov, & White (1996) “It is understood that teaching is much more than simple transmission of knowledge” In my opinion, it is imperative that a good teacher goes beyond give a lesson, a good teacher must know the context in which he or she works, the needs and interests of the students. Likewise, a good teacher must educate students integrally, taking into account all dimensions of the human being, emotions and personality, because it is useless to know much, if you are not a good person.
Finally, I think that being a good teacher is not easy. Wherever we go, we always find different situations and social, economic, cultural factors, among others, that make difficult our teaching work. Nevertheless, we must make efforts to be better every day. We must be creative and innovative in our classes. We must be able to face the challenges presented to us, and form critical students and researchers who are able to transform their social reality.
I think that to be an excellent teacher, we must to worry more for the applied knowledge and leave the grades a part, many times the education system give a mediocre education, I believe that we, as teacher must to teach to our students to think by themselves and do the things by themselves, our education system just work with the memory of our students but it doesn't worry for their mental development to solve problems of the daily life.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I think that we, as the future teacher of the country can do a big change, the biggest problem is that the education system give us a pensum to follow, but don’t take in a counter our opinion, that pensum many time say us that teach things without sense when we can teach things very useful. In my opinion a good teacher must to be serious, researcher, didactic and have a good communication with his students. In addition, have a frequently meetings to discuss the state of the students, their strengths and their weakness to improve the education.
Many people thinks that the teachers are the guilty for the bad education but I think that the education depends of many people, the parents, students and teacher play an important role in the education process, all of them have his own role and functions.
To sum up the education depends of many facts but if everybody works together, we can change the situation and get a better condition to us and our students.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, the most important part of a good education isn`t the time that you put on this, is the quality of this time, no matter if is short, the environment of freedom that you can give to your students, some people think that education is to sit down in a chair and listen to a person who is giving instructions or making you write something, in my opinion, the education is more than this, I think that a teacher has to be prepared for everything, because his work is with human beings, especially young people, in less words, he has the future in his hands.
In addition, it is good to have a place for the education, the school; but it hasn’t to be like a prison, where the student has the obligation to go, it has to be a place where the student wants to go, for this reason the teacher has the responsibility to make it as better as possible, the experience in the school and college, has to be one of the best experiences in the life of any person, because great part of the important things in our life have relation with this sacred place, our knowledge about the world, our friends or our girlfriend/boyfriend.
To sum up, the teacher is one of the most important characters in one society that dreams with a better future, I believe that is more important to have a country with education that have a country with lots of money; the money is important, obviously, it can buys many things that a human needs or wants, but when you put them in a scale, education makes more noise than the money, because the education can change the world.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all I think that really there are not good or bad teachers but there are teachers who are nearer to create better students than others, because they are conscious of the importance of their work. If the teacher recognizes the social value of his/her work, perhaps would be nearer to design more appropriate systems of teaching. In my opinion a good teacher does not depend on the educative conditions of the Minister, but in his own analyze of the context where he/she is working.
In addition, this analyze of the teacher must have certain characteristics, the most important one is the autonomy of teaching with respect to the needless of the market, it is different to “needless of the society”; education must not be seen as a business, students are not resources, schools must not be methods for getting money, the students must not study productive careers: they have to enjoy their majors studying from the hearths of their vocations; and finally, I think that some subjects would not have the preponderance that now have: those are the useful subjects economically, in opposite the value of the humanities is giant and has been stupidly devaluated.
There are two main levels of the humanity that are very convenient in the future of the education: the possibilities of the imagination and the respect for the freedom. If the teacher associates the content of his classes, the objectives, the competences… with the freedom of his students, the environment into the classroom would be much better; and if he may make good use of his students` imaginations the world would have thirty new great people.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I think that we cannot talk about a standard teacher, because in my opinion, each teacher has a way to teach, for instance some teachers have open mind, other teachers are traditionalists, other teachers are most academics, but each of them contribute to the education, for that reason I believe that, we cannot judge how is the best teacher, because the education does not a competition. But it is a reality that the education is imparts by mediocre teachers, but there are good teachers, and they love their jobs, their vocation.
In my opinion, and according to the question: how to be a good teacher? I think that, first, a good teacher should allow that students to think for themselves, is to say, the teacher should respect the way of thinking of each student. Also, teacher should know and to be conscious that he does not have all answers, so, the teacher, also, can learn of his students.
On the other hand, a good teacher should educate in knowledge, but also in values because in his hands, in his mind, in his ideas, it is the way how he is going to educate people for the good of society. In addition, a good teacher should has an open mind, since, el should know all, for instance about history, culture, languages, etc., and also he should know that he does not have the last world, but, he should update his knowledge.
Finally, for me, a good teacher is critical, so he or she allow the debate in the classroom. For that reason, I think that all teachers should ask this question: what is the most important, the knowledge in a student or what can do a student with that knowledge.

ReplyDeleteTeaching has always been one of the most complex jobs and teach not only requires many knowledge of a subject or get to a classroom and dictate some contents of a book. Teaching is the desire to make a difference in the lives of young people and they understand what they can achieve.
First of all, I think that become a good teacher mean having clear goals for their students in which students can develop their skills, also the teacher creates learning goals where knowledge comes through and gives them meaningful learning opportunities to students to practice what they have learned. In my opinion, the good teacher is forming competent, autonomous, with proper self-esteem, developing the culture of effort and fostering creativity and imagination.
In Addition good teachers are prepared and organized. Some people think that being a teacher is simply to get to their classrooms and students are organized and quiet in a way that can not be distracted in the classroom. I am in disagreement that these attitudes only prove that the student is still limited thinking, becoming the students repetetors.
To sum up, I believe that good teachers motivate their students and teach them different perspectives. Effective teachers use to teach the facts from the beginning, not until the end; and they manage to build strong relationships with their students and showing that they care about them as people. A good teacher inspires his students to achieve their dreams, urges them to fight for their ideals, and invites them to never stop dreaming, and to persevere and work to achieve their goals.

ReplyDeleteBe a teacher is one of the least grateful professions today, the current situation shows that each day we are worse. But anyway.
I think that to become a good teacher, I must achieve that your students learn that not all men are fair, showing that for every villain there a hero and that for every selfish politician there is a dedicated leader.
Moreover it would be good that they learn to appreciate reading good books without leaving aside the wonders of the life, also teaching them to believe in themselves and his abilities although at times left alone. Teaching them to be good and kind, to give ways to do things for themselves, not because others say it, though without ever neglecting the good values; learn to listen to everyone but at the moment of truth, decide for themselves.
To summarize I think a good teacher must offer their students the tools for go far, not put to them things easy, that them to learn to be better people and make them realize that with hard work and dedication can achieve a lot in life, without going over others to prove they have as learned, as a humble person is not measured by what you know but for everything you do, so that others also know, and to transmit this knowledge.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, being a teacher requires a vocation is not only necessary to want to be, we need to have in the soul essence that carry all teachers, that vocation to help.
When you teach is you feel a satisfaction, being able to share my knowledge is something that underlies the life of a teacher, it is crucial, when we get to bring something positive to the life of a student, you feel a pleasant happiness.
This film demonstrates the as the new reflects generation about traditional teaching, as it was ill-founded education before and as it was founded, the traditional education always focused towards the authority and no expression of student knowledge imparted but actually the opinion of the student did not know if I really wanted this knowledge, had in mind that the students had to be something uniform and not be mixed with education today is looking to interact with students is to know your skills, attitudes and strengths.
In my opinion, being a good teacher involves following the path of her students unconditional surrender, devoted to dream with them, find their strengths and help cultivate them.
I think that education and the strengths should start at home, although often leave that task to the teachers, which must start from scratch to best teach their students; often a teacher must fight against all odds that brings education, the teaching profession, this profession with the passage of days has been denigrated, but that did not matter to many, what matters is what is in the heart and the teaching vocation.
Finally, being a good teacher is teaching for life, not for the time being, also be a counselor, a friend, a confidant, that, to me, it is being a good teacher.

ReplyDeleteMany years ago education have been controlling by different methods and institutions which actually are not the appropriate and it is visible because of the results in each student and naturally the reaction in teachers, who nowadays share some ideas with students about this important theme.
Is necessary to talk about differences and non-conformism students have according to the way teachers teach. First of all, students feel sometimes their ideas are not right or just its do not important; they feel the score of their works says how they cost or deserve; they feel their knowledge is the only thing important because, even in the school people teach the competence which is important for the economy and the feelings just are not important; just to produce.
Some people think teaching is an easy work because teacher must to explain any topic, do an activity and mark according to what the student understand. But they do not look what strategies teachers have to use for student understand and learn; teachers have to use different methods and strategies for achieving that objective. So, it is not just to explain something and to evaluate the student.
Although some teachers still use old methods, nowadays is necessary the innovation, so, I believe that we as future teachers we have in our hands the change, and depends on us if the change is positive or negative. We must to be the guide and a good example for children or guys we are educating.
Maybe me and other partners are agree, also they think is necessary we as teachers, we have to include the feelings of each student, we must to be attentive in reactions of children, why they act in that way or in the other; in my opinion we have to use many strategies and be humans with children because they are too, they feel too, they need our help, they need to know they are listened too, their opinions are valuables and if something is not correct we have to correct that and explain why; in addition to be friends of our children although some limits are important for keeping the respect inside the room.
To sum up, I think that if we will be teachers we have to be aware about children need support for building a good society, and this support are not just in parents, they need us and need guides who wanted a good future too.

ReplyDeleteNowadays we believe that the education has advanced like technology has been advancing, but we can see that our education is still based on traditions of old school, eventhough that the schools have new chair-arms, intelligent classroms, coomputers for every group, etc., teachers have been using for children the same types of teaching that old school had.
First of all, the problem is not the technology (but it is necessesary), the problem is the methodology that educational model puts in everyone teacher.
Children can see that the most important skill in the school is what materials are used by teachers for teaching many concepts, rules, aspects, etc. Some of them think that many books, copies and tasks are more important than teachers’ words, because teachers do not have their own concepts, their own copies and tasks created by them.
In my opinion that is the reason for children believe their teachers are people that only have books in their house and they do not have have problems, they are not superheros because they look like robots say the same things of the books, then those things are not interesting for them because those are only words are written in a paper by someone anonymous. For that reason the education looks as something “necessary” but boring.
Teachers do not build a knowledge for the life, they build a knowledge for the moment or for the score in the signature.
When a school begins to teach things from needs of the people are living in its neigbourhood, city and country, this school is doing a real education without old statements like teaching math rules in a city full of violence. Also in a place where unnecessary things are mandatory for learning, the students can think that this is a place unnecesary for their life only necessary for their parents.
In adittion, many colombian schools have this problem (if I cannot say everyone), for that children say that schools are boring and look like prisons for the uniform, the high walls, the rules, etc. I can say, What is the difference between schools and prisons?
To sump up, schools are killing dreams, talents, interests and the enjoy for learning and discovering a new world in children. School are the principal killer of kids’ life or the principal jail for keeping children in four walls for learning "necessary things", for the classroom life, but unnecessary things for the real life, or the principal garden for caring children everyday, for the parents.
However, when traditional forms of education in the schools can be change, that may be the forbidden education that nobody can know, for that teachers do not say their own concept, words or ideas, because they will be the enemy of “the excellent education”. The, for becoming a good teacher is neccesary to be the enemy of the school.
HOW TO BECOME A GOOD TEACHER?
ReplyDeleteI think that be a good teacher requires time, dedication, much patience, and also use different materials, elements and strategies. I believe that, i must be meticulous in order to use different strategies that help on the constructions of people that are able to face up the world and also that contribute to the success of a society. Because, before knowing and doing, I must learn to be a good person In order to able to do the same with all my students.
However, the education with the time has been changing. For example, in the past the teacher used to be the authority in the different classroom; everybody had to obey them, but this happen in the past. we can see now in the 21st century, good and excellent teachers in each subject , because students’ needs require teachers who are able to suggest changes, new ideas, new methodologies, strategies in order to improve the teaching and the learning of different subjects.
I think that a good teacher must be aware of that and create a place where all of the students are heard because a student is not an empty bucket that has to be filled with information, but a person who produce their own knowledge. Additionally, teachers are a guide. They have the responsibility to facilitate the understanding of the knowledge facing the problems that there are in the community. Teaching is not only to transmit new topics; teaching is to make minds change for future.
To sum up, I think that the society wants teachers to be innovative, creative and competent when they must teach some topic, putting it into practice with real contexts because the new generations need teachers who are aware of the mistakes made in the past in order to suggest new alternatives, new changes in the present that motivate to the students to fight for their ideals in the future.
How to become a good teacher?
ReplyDeleteNowadays, we can see that education has changed in good and different aspects such us the technologic, the different ways to teach, the sources etc. But at the same time there are a lot of things that have not changed as teachers who teach with old techniques, the schools that still have methods that students do not like etc. for this reason it is important to teach new knowledge for creating a good education.
First of all, it is necessary to know what students think about class, education, society etc. because they are a fundamental part for us since they teach us and then we can teach them. In the movie we can see that students are not comfortable with the school, with the way to teach; for this reason we need to create different strategies for students are motivated for learning with activities, workshops etc. but taking into account the tastes of them.
In addition a teacher need patience, love for students, love for his major, knowledge in different topics etc. Because it cause that classes may be striking, didactic and productive. For being good teachers we need to be friends of students, we always must accompany them since they need someone that can guide them. But to be a good teacher also need the help for the school the system because we must know that the education in a lot of countries is not good for the system because there are a lot problems and that is why teachers cannot teach of the good way.
To sum up it is important to improve and develop strategies that help students and motivate them too, and also as teachers we must be in a continued research for getting new pedagogics and new ways to teach.
How to become a good teacher?
ReplyDeleteWell, I have to tell you that there is not a recipe or a manual that explains how to do it. I think that for to be a good teacher first of all we need to love what we do, because it is a gratifying profession. We have the future in our hands, we can construct or deconstruct society. We can encourage our students to be better and happy or we can frustrate them, and the most dramatic is that we can do it in less than one minute.
In my opinion the pedagogy that our school teacher use is backward for the new generations. We, as future teachers, have to understand that our future students are very different from us. They ask the reason why about everything and I think that is extraordinary because they are critical not as much as some of us want, but they are increasing their critical thinking and we have to encourage, to motivate them to do it again and again.
Forbidden education video show us, different ways to change our educative system, because believe or not we are doing something very bad. On one hand we see students want improve their quality lives but on the other hand this educative system want to create smart laborers who just think in themselves without realize that they are surrounded by human beings and we need each other to build society. I really love a statement that one of the teachers on the video said: “Everyone talks about peace but nobody teach in order to peace. People teach in order to competence and competence is the principle of any war”
HOW TO BECOME IN A GOOD TEACHER?
ReplyDeleteIn relation to the video, " la educación prohibida," it can be seen the roll of the teacher as the main core of the education, for this, currently the teacher has that confront different challenges that increased up through the time, bringing the need to implement different strategies to create a learning and respect environment, one of this challenges is to adapt to technological changes, and at the same way use them as a teaching tool in order to enter in the cycle of modernity; however, the education nowadays is only focused on the production of beings with knowledge but without values and no sense of belonging with around them.
First of all, I think that to become a good teacher is necessary to try of getting be to involved in the students lifes, that is, knowing about your strengths and weaknesses as well as their problems, the main reason of rebellious and disaffected students, in addition, a good teacher should allow him to listen the students, receiving and accepting respectfully their suggestions, allowing feedback and not only focus on imparting theories but also make use of the practice; nevertheless, everyday teaching is the most complex task , and at the same time, the most devalued by society, account of that the teacher is on who fall on the responsibility of the formation of the person, leaving aside external factors as are, the family and social environment, responsible for low levels too.
In my opinión, the teacher should be the example to folllow of his students and he must motivate them to the change and improvement daily entailing to form a better society, but without separating them from their customs and their environment; in addition, the teacher must have the vocation and the will to make that his work not become a failure.
