Who am I?
ReplyDeleteMy name is José Inocencio Becerra Lagos. I am eighteen years old. I am a student of Modern Languages at UPTC. I have few hobbies: I like to read, to walk, to ride in my bike; on the contrary I have many interests: I love to write, so I have many dreams in the world of the literature: I want to be a successful writer, I also like to read. I am a dreamer teenager, introvert, free, and almost always happy.
Which are your strengths and weaknesses as foreign language learner?
My strengths as language learner, especially in English, are in the writing and speaking. Speaking is not difficult because I have some facilities for improvising in English, and writing because I love to write –in Spanish- so it help me for writing in English (but I have many difficulties with grammar still) besides I can´t be as rhetoric in English as in Spanish.
My main weakness is the listening, I am very slow for understanding what I listen. And although I do not have difficulties reading in English it is much more interesting in Spanish.
Which are your strengths and weaknesses when reading?
My strengths are that I can deduce unknown words since the context and I often understand what I read; moreover read is not boring for me. And my weakness reading is my vocabulary: although I try to deduce, sometimes I do not understand because there are many words I do not know, surely the trouble is my low level of vocabulary.
Which are your strengths and weaknesses when writing?
I do not have many strengths writing in English, perhaps I try to develop good my ideas. English is more laconic than Spanish, accept that change is not easy for me: sometimes I prefer the esthetic dimension of a sentence than its grammar rules, besides I do not know where I have to put the “h” in some words.
What strategies do you think you can use to foster your language learning, especially when talking about reading and writing skills?
There are many interesting strategies for improving my capacity writing and reading. For instance, in writing stage I can translate some tales written in Spanish, I have to know new words and I can train my capacity writing short ideas in English. And for reading in that language I can only continue reading British and American writers in their original language. Thus I have the pleasure of read poetry and prose written in a foreign language and the opportunity for understanding methods and right ways for writing in English.
The lad
_ I do not know many things. I accepted your proposition; nevertheless you have to remember that I was only his neighbor, therefore my perspective was not complete and my memory could to have changed some events. I remember him especially on December, in that month he left the city, perhaps the continent, perhaps the world. He was an enigmatic introvert intelligent lad. I never knew to his parents (somebodies say that his mother died when he was born, and his father became in a mad man and abandoned him for breeding doves –I am not a gossipy woman, however I listened that he say that the doves were spirits, holy spirits–).
He lived alone in the basement of an ancient house, he hated –and killed– snakes, he often played with water, he never spoke but I remember him like a wise human, he built and destroyed toys, towers, he created clocks, he had ninety nine nicknames whereas zero friends and a rare power for arriving quickly to many sides.
He was a rare child, a mysterious lad, but I never believed that he went to became in a god. Here many people knew him, bad a few of them remember him, and none of them speak about him.

First of all, I am Wilmar Andrés Alba Laverde, but everybody call me: Will, I am 24 years old, and I think, that I am the oldest in the classroom; on the other hand, I am student of modern languages and I am in third semester. I am studying that career, because in the future I would like to be translator or Spanish teacher, in addition, I would like to travel another countries, such as, Canada or France, for that reason, my primary interest and object is to study and to learn English and French. My hobbies are ride bicycle with my father on weekend, also I like reading about history books, because I love the history, I like to listen to music, and I like staying with my girlfriend; in general this is my personal life.
I am sure, that to learn another language is difficult, for that reason, I study and practice hard, because, to learn languages involves discipline every day, so, I watch videos about English, because, I need to improve my audition in English. I like reading, for that reason, I think that, this strength, I can use for I try to read in English, since, through the reading, I can improve my English and I can learn new words, new vocabulary.
Sometimes, I write, but I don´t write in English, so, for this semester, I will try to write in English, because I think, that this ability could help me to learn new things, for example, I like write rhetoric texts and coherent texts, and I like using linking words, but I recognize that, I don´t know very well about punctuation rules. On the other hand, I have many weaknesses, since, I am shy for to speak in English, for instance, I don´t like to speak in English with many people around me, because of that I feel scare when my classmates don´t understand me.
As for, the Reading in English, I guess that this is a great ability that I have, but, I don´t read very often in English, because I don´t have patience to search every word in the dictionary that I don´t know. Besides, in the last semester I read many reading about complex topics, for that reason, I got tired to read in English. I know, that the reading is a way to learn languages, for that reason, I am going to use this ability for to improve my English level.
I know that I need to foster some strategies for to learn languages, for that, first of all, I am going to develop a Schedule for I have time to practice English, on the other hand, I will go to visit a assistant, because, I need help for to improve my audition, for that reason, with an assistant, I will can tell him my doubts, and finally I am going to practice with my partners. I´m sorry for exaggerate with the words, but, I like writing.

Sometimes, I think that you are not, I guess that you do not want to show your face; you know that I am your son and you know that I believe in you, but, my life is not the best, because, I feel that you do not want to be my Lord, Why? Currently, I live with my parents, sisters and my niece. in addition, I consider me a responsible and friendly teenager. I am an athlete since three years. Also, I like listening to English rock music like Pink and watching action movies but I don’t like cooking or playing volleyball. Now, I am student of Modern Languages and I am on third semester at UPTC. In addition, I have two great dreams: first, I would like to win in Olympic Games 2016 and the second when I finish my career I would like to teach my native language in other countries.

Learning a foreign language is not easy but neither impossible. I think that my biggest strengths are reading because when I read some book, paper or Internet readings I understand almost everything. Besides I think my writing is good because when I read I can pick up new vocabulary and so learn grammar. My weaknesses are speaking because I am a insecurity person and when I have to speak I am a bit slow. Finally, my listening is other weakness because I try to understand what says me teachers and classmates and recordings in class and I understand bit.

Whenever I read mentally I can understand almost everything the text, also, I can deduce some unknown words according the context. However, sometimes I cannot do it and I translate word by word until I lose the idea of the reading. On the other hand, whenever I read aloud I worry more by pronunciation and I read slowly without understand the idea of reading.
* Which are your strengths and weaknesses when writing?
Nowadays, when I write I think in the correct use of each word and search synonyms for not repeat words, also for me is very important the grammar and look in each time the best structure for my writings. But, often I forget linking words and signs of punctuation. on the other hand, sometimes I confused when I can use similar words according context, for example I do not t know when I can use "to or for" "whenever o when" "Like or as", etc
* What strategies you do think you can use to foster your language learning, especially when talking about reading and writing skills?
I think that the most important way to learning a foreign language is discipline, if I am disciplined I am sure that I can improve quickly my skills. And How? Well, in this case for writing and reading, I could read some texts in English or search in web about my interests and after I write an abstract. Also, I might to go the tutorials for talking about my writings to my proffesors and know if those are correct. To sum up, "I need to be more disciplined".

My friend's daily routine…
My friend's name is Sophie, she is a beautiful and funny girl that live in United States. Actually, she is not from there, she is from Colombia. She teaches Spanish in United States but she do not have relatives there. Every day she gets up at 5:00 am because she trains athletics from 5:30 to 7:00. Then, she takes a shower, dresses, brushes her teeth and has breakfast. On the other hand, she does not have any pets because she does not have time to care them.
She normally gets to her work at 8:00 and begins her classes at 8:10pm. She never gets late. Almost always, in the afternoon, she has lunch at 1.00 and afterward begins the classes at 1:30. Until finishes at 5:00. She does not train in the afternoon. Finally, when she gets to her house, she never has not dinner, then, she brushes her teeth and goes the bed at 9:00.

I am a friendly person, I don’t like the lies, I like to play basketball, volleyball, billiards and other games. I love the Bachata music, my favorite singer is Romeo Santos, also I listen reggaeton.
I want to be the best teacher of languages, and to travel to other countries to learn about new cultures and learning new things.

I think my strengths to learn a foreign language are: always wanting to learn new things, do not give me up so easy before the problems that arise and always be ready to give the best of my.
And my weaknesses are: To think that the things sometimes are difficult and let myself fall out by moments.
I consider that my weaknesses to read in English are: not knowing all the vocabulary that is in the reading, do not knowing the right structures and the different meanings of each word to give proper meaning to the text.
Writing for me is more difficult, since I do not know all the structures for to do it right, but at the time of writing I always try to find a way with words easiest to convey what I want.
As to the strategies I think that I should put everything of my in to learn to read and write properly in English, attending tutorials and to try to be the best.
3. My father.
His name is Luis Guio, he is the love of my life. Since I was born he is very special with me, he always gives everything to me, my brothers and my mom, he´s small bus driver, he works as a driver of Paipa to Duitama, he drives to work every day, he takes a coffee every morning. He never arrives late, always on time to work, he is a man very responsible also loving.
On the other hand he always wants the best for us, he seeks the way for we are good and that never do we need nothing.
When I'm not with him, I go to the movies with my friends, to eat popcorns, enjoy the movie. Then we go to dinner hamburguer, after that go back home, I finish my homework and then I go to sleep until the alarm ring and I wake up to do everything again.
The next day I wake up early to see my dad and I give him a big kiss.

My weaknesses are almost not going to tutoring and lack of practice. My strengths are my good reading ability pronunciation and reading comprehension. My weakness to read do not read very often books in English.
My strengths are writing good quality of my handwriting and spelling. My weaknesses are writing do not write often and lack of interest.
I think to promote language learning, using the strategy of listening to our favorite music in English, and have letters, and follow the song singing is fun, and learn pronunciation and vocavulario.

Carolina lives in a small flat in Tunja. in the mornings she always wakes up at 6:00 o'clock and always has a shower. then she makes breakfast. she usually has her breakfast with eggs and Bacon. After that she goes to study.
She studies in the Uptc in Tunja. she sits in the classroom all morning and also writes notes, she doesn't like spend all morning studying, but she likes learning knowledge.
At 12:30 she goes to lunch and almost always has a sandwich with natural juice, she doesn't like sodas.
On weekends she doesn't have to study, she usually goes out for a few beers with her friends on Friday night!
On Sunday she sleeps all morning, and she likes listen to rock in the afternoon, and I love her. bye.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Yeny Lucía Rincón Duarte. I am twenty-one years old. I am from Soatá, but now I live in Tunja. I am studying Modern Languages at Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia. I like listening to music and watching movies, especially romantic and action movies. Also, I love dancing so much.
On the other hand, as a foreign language learner it is easy for me to learn the grammar of the language but sometimes it is difficult for me to understand when someone talks to me and when I have to speak in a foreign language. Besides, when I read I like to have a dictionary with me to find unknown words. Also, it is important for me to read out aloud to understand what I read. In addition, I do not know how to start writing and how to organize my ideas, but I like making drafts when I write in order to present a good writing.
Finally, I consider that in order to improve my writing and reading skills it is important to read a lot and doing exercises of aloud reading. Also, I can pay close attention to the grammar and punctuation in the different books that I read, because this can help me when I write. Besides, I can improve these skills making oral reports and writing summaries of what I read. Additionally I can write about the topics of my interest and develop exercises on internet.
TEN YEARS LATER
Today is February 20th. I sleep until 6: 10 am. The alarm rings. I wake up and I am ready to start a new day. I open the window and I look at the beautiful view of the city of Paris. Then, I take a shower and I get dressed. I have breakfast; I eat cereal with yogurt and fruit. After, I leave home and I drive my red car to my job. I work in the University of Paris as a teacher and translator. I do not have many friends because I am a little shy.
After class, I have lunch and I come back to work. Then, I go to the supermarket and I buy some fruits and vegetables. Later, I go to the mall. There, I buy a beautiful dress for tonight. When I arrive home I take a shower and I get ready to go out with my fiancé. We go to have dinner in the famous restaurant Jules Verne, which is inside the Eiffel tower. There, we toast our engagement with the best wine. After that, we go to dance. Later, we go home by foot because we do not have any money for the taxi. I arrive home very tired. I wish to my fiancé a good night and I go to bed but I cannot sleep. Then, I have to get up and I read a book until I feel like sleeping.

my girlfriend's life.
Her name is Paula Amaya,usually she wakes up at 7:30, she is very responsible so she stands up immediately, she cooks the breakfast and the lunch while the baby is sleeping, she doesn't wakes up the baby early to do the thing without problems and fast, she cooks very delicious because of she loves to cook, in addition, she likes to experiment and improve in the kitchen, she plays with the baby in the mornings, they play piano from 9:00 to 10:00, she has lunch at 12:30 and she goes to take a ride with the baby, on the other hand, I´m working or studying, she arrives to home at 4:30 and takes a rest, she goes to sleep at 9:00 and the day begins again.

2.1. To me learn another language is a great challenge, but i love it, i guest that this is my strength, my weakness is the listening skill, but i haven't problem with these.

3. Erick's Routine.
Erick always wakes up at seven o'clock, he first takes a shower and then he makes his breakfast, at eight o'clock he goes to the college, he studies law in the UNAL, he comes back home at four o'clock, he takes his medicine because of he suffer of Asma. On the weekends he always goes out to walk in the park in addition he makes differents exercises, on the other hand his brother julian hates wake up early, he usually goes to sleep, Erick is very responsable and he loves his girlfriend, to sum up erick is a good guy.
Hello teacher and classsmates, my name is Angie Lilian Maria Ortiz Mariño, This is my third semester at the UPTC, I study modern languages and I am so happy to be here. Additionally, I am a sport girl, I like to play rugby, basketball, and I love going to the gym. Also I like to read and my favourite hobby is to listen to music in english.
ReplyDeleteAll the people have stregnths and weaknesses to learn a foreign language, in my personal case, it is easy to talk with the other people, because I strongly believe that is the best way to learn. Sometimes when I study, I forget the things and is complicated to remember them.
When I read, I do it loud, it is a way that helps me to remember how I should write in a correct way. Sometimes, the vocabulary is my weakness because I don’t know something about a subject and the pronunciation is difficult for me.
The vocabulary is a weakness too, because I don’t know how I can write very well a sentence. On the other hand, when somebody is talking or saying something I try to write and this exercise helps me to improve my writing.
But in order to learn I think that there are many ways to improve and learn.
For me, is easy to learn vocabulary with the lessons class, listen to music, to watch movies, try to talk with other person, etc. These are simple ways to learn with funny strategies.
This foreign language (English) I think is amazing and sometimes for the people is complicated, but with the study nothing is imposible and with hard effort we canstruggle and do the best.

I am student of Modern Language in the UPTC, I like to play basketball, ride a horse, listen to music, watch TV, read and surf on internet. On the other hand, practice English, (listening, pronunciation) with my friends in the free time.
My interests in this subject are: read and can understand the different activities, learn new vocabulary, practice listening, pronunciation, grammar ,in addition ,write more in English and speak English more.
My strengths when I learn a language are:My responsibility, dedication, effort, and discipline in class and outside of class.
My weaknesses when I learn a language are: understand when someone speaks in English, because of that speak very fast, my lack of grammar, my weaknesses when i read i don´t know many vocabulary. I often can't express my ideas.
To sump up, is important to know that each person can use different strategies to improve their learning ,and finally, I always think that, I must practice my pronunciation,listening , that I have learned, with more often, to learn new vocabulary and practice different topics about all of English language every day and practice for my future professional

I’m from Villapinzon/ Cundinamarca but I live in Tunja for my study, but I always travel the weekend to my town. I have two siblings, they are in the school, my brother is twelve years old and my sister is fourteen years old and my parents are teachers, they work in my town.
My hobbies are play basketball, play soccer, eat all time, listen to music. Sometimes I like to sing with my father or my siblings also I like to read horror books and other thing that I love is dance with my dance group because is very important for my life.
1. I think that my strengths as foreign language learner are I have good pronunciation and I like read and my weaknesses as foreign language learner are that sometimes I don’t understand some topics because my listening isn’t very good and I'm not very good in grammar, is difficult for me.
2. My strength when reading is that I read fluently and my weaknesses when reading are that I don’t know much vocabulary and I don’t understand some words.

Michael history
Michael is a young that always is only, he has much money because his parents are rich. Michael also has many problems in his school because of he use drugs, and he is very aggressive with his partners and his teachers. His friend Steve also has many problems. He drinks beer and use drugs too.
Michael and Steve decide have a party with your friends, due to that his parents are traveling. This day everyone is in the party, all drink, and dance but to Michael doesn't like this, in addition all use drugs. Then start to out smoke of the house. Suddenly everyone started screaming and the house collapsed.
Sadly all died expect Michael. After of this sad story he changes because his parents don’t leave alone. On the other hand Michael left of use drugs. To sum up, the life of Michael changes after of this tragedy.

ReplyDelete* My name is Edith Carolina Pérez Moreno, I'm 18 years old, I'm from Tunja. I like reading so much, in special stories about mistery, love and magical events, I like writting, and listening music. Also, I love painting because It's a piece my life, It´s my inspiration, my great and important hobbie.
As foreing lenguage learner, I think that listening music and seeing movies a lot , but those in english, are very important for learnig english more easy, because, for me the listening gives me new vocabulary and helps me to understand more faster this lenguage.
On the other hand, I believe that is more difficult reading long texts in english when I do not know some words and phrases.
* When I read, I can understand many things although some words and expressions are stranges for me, because of the context of that text tell us about what is its information.
* When I write I can do many text if I know the rules or I understand them, because when I do not understan them I write things without logic and order, to sum up, in my case writing is easier than reading.
* I think that nice strategies to foster my lenguage learning when I talk about reading and writing skills, are reading more things have rules and grammar skills that I need, because sometimes I read texts without skills important for growing my level english. In addiction I have to read texts with skills that I need, not texts with skills that I know, I have to practise those skills in the new texts I'm doing.
*My brother's name is Dario. He everyday wakes up at 5:00 o'clock and gets up at 5:15. He doesn't have breakfast in his house because he has breakfast in his job place. He goes out easier to the bakery because he is a baker. He works from 6am to 2 pm, or sometimes 3pm.
He has a baby, my handsome and kind nephew. His baby's name is Samuel. Then, my brother spends rest of the time with him. Also, he always goes to the gym at night. Later, he plays soccer with his friends.
He arrives to the house at 9 o’clock and he has dinner and goes to sleep.

my experience
Every day I get up with desire of I overcoming and being learned by things that should fill me with wisdom but because of to this laziness and this fear of the frustration and prefer not doing itI hope one day be able to defeat this laziness and this way conquer this fear and this way every day to be a better person as for the professional thing and the cognitive thing.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Milena Galindo, i am from Cienega, i study modern languages, i study in the UPTC, i am in fourth semester, i am interested in learn more of english language, to have a best understanding to write a paragraph , when i listen different audios, or when i read a book, i will like enrich my vocabulary for i can speak more fluid, . I like listening to music, surf on internet and i hate the conceited people.
My strengths as a student of languages are the passion for learning a new language, the search for new knowledge drives the desire to learn and grow. My weakness is that sometimes do not quite understand the audio , still have not fully developed my ability to listen.
My strengths when i Reading are i know the structure of the sentences, my weakness are i do not know a lot of vocabulary.
My strength when i writing are, frecuently I identify irregular and irregular verbs, my weakness are i do not some structures, sometimes i do not know the meaning of words.
The strategies that can be used to enhance language learning may be seeking to enrich the vocabulary, reading books, listening to audio books, doing tests of reading comprehension, watching movies and practicing often the act of writing by creating short written to verify the knowledge of the different grammatical aspects.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Cindy Catherin Novoa Gil, I'm17 years old, I was born on 21 June in Tunja,Boyacá; but I lived in Samacá during my ten first years of life.Nowdays i live in Tunja with my family,I have two younger sisters; they are Maria José and Adriana del Pilar.
I like chocolate so much, I enjoy eating greenapple and strawberries, they are my favorite fruits; I like eating pizza and spaguetti, but I don't like soda and caramel; I like walking in the mornings,listening to music,i love listening to piano and I want to learn how toplay it. When I go out with my friends I enjoy my time with them as I love spend time with my family.
I like to learn about other cultures, because of the variety of customs that's why I decided to study modern languages at the UPTC, I like french so much as I like English. However as many people have differents aptitudes, they have weaknesses and strenghts. I show some weaknesses at the moment to learn English.
Unfurtunately I get confused with some words that have the same sound but they are different and their meanings are different too. Sometimes it is difficult for me recognize some words that I learned before, also I sometimes read quickly and understand part of a paragraph.
On the other hand I have strenghts and my enjoyment for the languages are my help; for example I like listening to music in English , reading interesting short books to increase my vocabulary, in addition , sometimes I watch news in English, so, I try to understand something about the news. To sum up I love studying modern languages.
Notwithstanding, I confuse some words I find out the way for understand the message of the text, so when I read I like looking for words I don't know.
Recording to writing, it's a little bit difficult to make long paragraphs with certain coherence and sequence.
The strategies I suggest are, searching help and share with other partner topics in English, reading more little books and look for vocabulary unknown for increase my "bank of words".

When teacher explains some topic I can understand quickly, what means that I have chosen what I like at all, and if cannot understand I will always be handy for understanding.
No matter what topic had been exposing in class. I always search information about that because is common in whatever topic to fill any gap.
Weaknesses
When teachers start to speak in English I sometimes do not understand what they are talking and I start to feel so sad because I cannot catch the ideas.
Also happens that when I am speaking and writing is common to do Spanglish and this is a big mistake because each language has different ways to express the ideas.
*Strengths
To read can provide me a new way to learn to write and it is great because you could have a huge field the new ways for starting, developing and finishing an idea on text.
Reading helps me to understand what is the meaning of the words since the reading is a mental process who found the way to tell you what could be a possible mean or what is near.
Weaknesses
I used to distract with whatever thing it means that people could be first one than me because for me, reading could take me so much time, and in specific cases like a test to be distracter could be cause a bad grade.
Punctuation is a big problem with me because I can no interpret what is the meaning of them and what is the correct use, what produces that I often need to read tow times or more.
* Strengths
To write helps to my mind to how have to organize the ideas since writing force to me to highlight what is so much important on the text or essay.
Witting helps me to remember words that I leant in the past. Since when I am witting my mind force me to think in English and that is why I can find words that I had lift to use.
Weaknesses
Another point is unfamiliarity of some words what means that when I start to write I always use the same words and for me and the reader it is very boring and monotone.
When I am writing I forget the right way to spell words and when teacher starts to rectify he or she will always find a lot mistakes.
*Reading
I consider that to start to read interesting topics about your hobbies and points of view and in this way you could improve your interpretative level and at the same time you could find your favorite information.
To asking questions yourself such as: What the author wants to convince me? What the text wants to teach me? Or simply what is the big idea in each paragraph?
Writing
To learn what is the right way for writing, in other words, to understand what is the composition on the text?
To do brief comments about whatever topic, what is really important is to do it for gaining a top drafting.
3. Composition
I live alone because of my studies. I just think about how comfortable life is when you live with your family because all is very easy. To sum up I recognize that I feel homesick not only for my family but also for being comfortable and this means to eat very well because I am lover of the food but no only for eating but also for cooking.
In addition the economic livelihood of Tunja depends of farming that is why I love this town because I find all what I need , who are great people and on the other hand amazing food and I just say myself why do you complain to be alone if you have everything

My family
I have a family that is loving and united. My father's name is Alvaro, the always outstanding of each of us and each day is calling me to know about me. My mother's name is Alicia, she is loving and gentle with everyone, she always consent to his family even too. I have two sisters, my older sister called Aidee, she is 30, she is always cheerful, she also has a little girl, she is five years old, her name is Laura my niece. She is sweet, smiling and very intelligent, Laura start school this year.
On the other hand my older sister is a nurse and because of her profession, she can not spend much time with her daughter.
My younger sister is called Rocio, she is fourteen, she loves to dance and go play with her friends, addition she knows how to play guitar.
The last member of my family is me. I am always aware of them and speak to them in my cell. I am known for being responsible.
To sum up my family is perhaps a family very common but something that differentiates us is the great love and support that we always provide each other.

ReplyDeleteI’m Yuliana Cusba, I’m nineteen years old, I’m from Mongua, I have two siblings; on my free time I like reading and listening music specially rock music, so, my favorite group is linking park and also I like watching movies; when I was sixteen years old I was in my pregnancy, then I have a daughter, she is three years old, I love her, my main objective is can finish my course and become a teacher and in this way can help my family.
1. I have the ability to can pronounce in a correct way some words, and is difficult to me can understand or can identify some terms in new conversations, besides I think that I need more fluency in my speaking and I haven’t a good grammar.
2. When I read I try to be faster and across the time, I have improved this ability although the unknown vocabulary get confuse me, so, is too difficult get involving me in the reading.
3. I think that I can put the punctual signals in a correct position; I also can use connectors to express my ideas; however, some times when I try to write I think in Spanish.
4. To improve in these aspects, to me the place in where I read or write is very important, for that I try to look for a place where there is not noise and it is important to me can be confortable, also, I think that the practice in the reading and writing skills are basic in my learning.
MY GARDEN
In my house there is a big and green garden, it is very nice, it has many beauty and colorful flowers, I like play there with my daughter and my niece, they can enjoy on that place, for example, my niece is Yenny and she plays there whit my daughter. Sometimes we only sit down in that place, and I tell stories to them, it is a great time because I can share time whit them and, in addition, I can remember some things of my childhood, I miss it, my garden is amazing.

Hello, my name is Erika Rozo. I am from Saboyá, but in this moment I live in Tunja with my sister. I am twenty three years old. My interests are to learn many things about the English. Also I would like to finish my studies with great grades, and with a good English level. Then I would like to go to the abroad, especially I would like to visit London, because in that city people speak English and it would be an unforgettable experience for me, as person and as a future English teacher. Later, I would like to continue learning French to visit Canada, because there people speak two languages like English and French, and I could improve my knowledge about the both languages. ReplyDeleteMy strengths as a foreign language learner are my memory to save structures, verbs, meanings, and spelling. I always pay attention during the classes and I have the motivation to practice the things that I have learned, because I want to improve my skills. On the other hand my weaknesses are a short vocabulary, punctuation, and I do not have a good listening. My strengths when reading are good pronunciation, fluency and punctuation. But I think that is difficult for me when reading is unknown vocabulary and I can pronounce correctly. My strengths when writing are to know some grammatical structures, and to know how use some tenses. But my weaknesses are not known some connectors and punctuation. I think good strategies to improve my reading and writing are practicing them in the web. Also watching English programs and reading books.
Stardust
It is a country with three official languages such as French, English and Spanish. The currency is dollars. People have a life insured and there everybody study free until the University. The censorship is that any woman cannot abort and they cannot have another religion there. The most important industries are the milk, agriculture and wine industries.
This country has an absurd law that is death penalty for people that want to change the religion and for men that fight his wives. However in this country people accept the laws because there are no poor people and all of them have a good life. In Stardust people do not have to carry guns and only men and women between twenty and thirty five years old can get marry.

ReplyDeleteI'm Daniel Santiago Palacios, I'm 17 years old, I come from of the North of Boyacá, I am student of modern languages; I'm studying English because when I was a shild whit, I dream wit be the best firemen in the USA, for the reason I'm trying to learn this lenguaje, in the other hand, I has learned to love the pedagogy, because mi mother is teacher and I always ask myself how have that's children quiet, I love so much the soccer, I eat soccer, I smell soccer, I breathe soccer, I like the video game I like the wwe, i like the fitness, I don't like to read except when it's in English
It isn't easy to learn other idiom, and it's more complicated when you are very lazy and dreamy like me, I practice English since that I'm 12 years, but in my town and for the general the education is based in a poor way of to teach English, I think that my love for the English is thank for the video games because I had to search the words that I didn't understand for to keep playing
For me, to read is the thing more hard in the world, I prefer to do other things like to watch a movie and to learn of the subtitles, I read for obligation, but when i do it in English, I think that's it's come more interesting because I don't know I give more importance to the book in English but still it's bored for me
Writing in English is much easier to read because you have more time for to think it, I'm so more creative and efficient; I hope that I learn to write whit a perfect grammatical and a perfect vocabulary, I need it.

I wake up at 7:00 o' clock a.m. At 7:05 o' clock a.m. I eat my breakfast composed of milk and cereals. At 7:15 o' clock a.m. I have a shower and wash my face and I brush my teeth and at 8:00 o'clock a.m. I go to Valeria's house by car and we go to school, but often also Maria Luigia comes with us.
At 8:15 o' clock lessons start and usually at 10:15 o' clock a.m. I eat my little snack.
Some days the school ends at 12:15 o' clock p.m. and other days at 1:15 p.m.
I usually eat my lunch at 1:15 o' clock p.m. After the lunch, I usually do my homework and I study for the next day. After the homework, I go out with my friends and I back at my house at 8:00 o'clock p.m. After my return I eat my dinner and after this I often surf in internet and at 10:00 o' clock p.m. I like watch tv and my favourite TV programs are on Real time.
I usually go to the bed at 11:00 o' clock p.m., ready for a new day!

My Dog
My Dog is a Pincher, his name is Pinky, he is my love. When he arrives in my live I don’t likes him. He looks like a mouse. Over time I sees it his tender and loving, he has a small house, and a lot part of time he sleeps with me, and when I travel he makes so sad and cry over my bag. I wish bringing with me, but I can’t bring with me, also on weekends he makes so happy to see me again.

In this moment I’m living in Tunja with my mother and my brother, I have not got a father, I don´t have been opportunity that know to him but I think that it is no important because I have living very good 19 years ago. Hi guys, my name is Paola Sánchez I’m 20 years old and I’m from Chiquinquirá. Let’s see.. About me? Well I’m a friendly person, I love to meet new people and help them in size they permit me. I like fervent people, people who don’t quit, people who dream. Like most of the reading lovers I’m a passionate woman, besides the reading I love to dance, to travel, I love listening to music, to sing it. There’s one specific skill that I’m trying to develop for these days the handicrafts it’s a little hard but I just need to work on it. ReplyDeleteThrough the years, studying Modern languages I’ve learn that this science has a lot of field to research, but maybe the most difficult part for me are the grammar skills, how to use a point or a comma, the semantics, the syntax, all those linguistic’s things that are necessary to be an excellent english speaker. On the other hand my strenght is in the speaking skill, except for the phonetics which I’m still learning, my fluency is good and I like to practice it with native speakers. When I read is difficult to identify the exactly meaning of some words but for the context I can deduce it, also there are grammar structures that are hard to understand, for example when it use various adjectives for describe just one noun. Maybe my strenght is when I deduce the unknown words and according to the context I can catch the idea. In the writing part is even most difficult because you need to know the different meanings of each word to be used it good, you need to know if this word has a different meaning as a preposition or as a noun or even as a verb because of this for me is very hard to write, but I do my best effort on this, the good thing is I have a lot of ideas in my mind to help me.
When I read a book or a text in english I learn about all the four skills I practice all of them in a
fairly way but is reaching. Do exercises designed only for one specific skill. Maybe this could help.
CREATIVE COMPOSITION
My mother is 43 years old and she’s still learning. She’s my hero, not all the women at that age have the strong to be so independent so succesful, anyway she’s an excellent profesional and she’s so cool as well, she know a lot of things, she’s able to do what ever she wants. Her name is Nidia, by the way I have the same name, she’s a teacher I mean she’s a great teacher, she loves pedagogy and loves all her students. In my family we have an unique union but is just for my mom, she’s the oldest in seven siblings and the head of our family, please don’t think that my grandma is dead is just that my mom has this leadership thing that she can’t denied. I just want to express my love and admiration for the woman who gives me the life every single morning.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Eliana Marcela Ochoa Gómez, but you can call me Marcela. I’m a Modern Languages student. I don’t have too much hobbies or interest, just four: I love to read and go to the movies. I enjoy taking pictures. And I like to listen classical music while I read.
As a foreign language learner I think that I’m really good at listening and taking, so that helps me when I have to interact with native speakers. So I enjoy practicing with foreign teachers. I’m dispersed so I can’t concentrate in a task for a lot of time and I feel that teachers have to explain themselves really well in order to understand the assignments.
I consider myself a good reader. I really enjoy reading in English. I think that we gain a lot of vocabulary by reading. But I suck at writing, because I’m really bad in grammar and I misspell some words and I stink with punctuation. So, I really look forward this class.
I think that I have to practice by writing a lot, check some grammar, and look for some interactive courses or something like that that helps me with my weaknesses.
CREATIVE COMPOSITION
Titto is an ugly dog because of his skin condition, in addition to a bad smell; even do people pet him at the street. It’s sad to see homeless animals walking around the city, without food or water in addition to the environmental problems they inhabit. On the other hand there are some people who spend thousands of dollars petting their pets, taking them to spas and parties. I’m wonder instead of wasting their money spoiling their pets they donate their money to organizations that help animals without shelter? There wouldn’t be great? If you ever read this message, and you have a pet, think what would happen whit your dog if is missing? Please, don’t take wrong this message, and contribute to help others in need.
THE CREEPING MAN

They were in house and start to talk about a new and estrange case with the professor presbury ’s behavior and his dog.
After arrived to Holmes Mr. Benet who was professor’s presbury assistance and he lived at that professor’s house and her was engaged to the professor’s daughter, Edit.
Benet was very concerned for professor, so he decided to search help .
Benet knew something about professor and told Holmes about professor crisis, he was acting of different ways. He was crawling like a monkey.
After Nine days Edith arrived Holmes ‘house to tell him about a new event with her father.
Presbury had been a new crisis. Holmes went to professor’s house and observed that professor’s bad mood.
After Benet found some professor’s cards and he told Holmes.
Holmes knew about something case. He knew about one woman that the professor loved.
Holmes knew that the professor will have a new crisis in the following nine days, and this was really.
The professor had a new crisis and homes had investigated and he had planed some strategies for give answer to the professor’s behavior.
The day of professor’s crisis, Roy the professor’ dog attracted the professor because he was acting vey strange. Roy to hunted the professor so Holmes help to professor this day.
After days Holmes call Dorak who was the supplier of medicine of professor was taken since day.
That medicine was the cause of the professor’s behavior.
Holmes knew that Dorak was the criminal and Holmes did a plan for catching.
Finally Dorak was catching and he was to prison and the professor was vey good .
